How do you use garlic for a yeast infection?

Q.

A. You take a piece and insert it into ur vagina overnight I think garlic stinks. Use plain yogurt its much better take a tampon dip it into the yogurt and insert it overnight until yeast is fully gone.

Can garlic get lost in your vagina while doing the treatment for a yeast infection?
Q. No need for more detail..it's a yes or no question =]

A. Things can't really get lost in the vagina. There is no where for it to go really. But why are you putting garlic into your vagina? If you have a vaginal yeast infection, you might try an anti-yeast preparation such as Canesten. You could also try using natural LIVE yoghurt. This needs to be introduced into the vagina with either a tampon or syringe (without the needle!). The key is not the yogurt itself but the bacteria, lactobacillus acidophilus, in the yogurt. This helps the body maintain, or regain, its natural pH level.

Has anyone tried the garlic clove in vagina for candida/yeast infection?
Q. If yes, how did you do it and did it burn a lot???
I'm currently on my period and need a solution to this yeast infection fast! It's getting very irritating

A. Just buy a cream from your pharmacy dear, it's really not good to mixture with home remedies like this, especially not as the garlic probably would only burn your already irritated vagina & mucus membranes.

To the person below, NEVER use salt on your vagina as this will dry it out & might cause permanent damage. Salt is EXTREMELY drying & is used to dry out foods, now imagine putting this in contact with your sensitive mucus membranes. Don't do it.

If it's also internal you'll also need a pill that you insert at nighttime. But go to a gynocologist & either by a cream over the counter, or have a stronger one perscripted to you.

a garlic clove is used for curing yeast infections but is there a posibility of it getting stuck?
Q.

A. I wouldn't recommend sticking food into your vagina. As it rots it will cause all sorts of happy problems that will send you to your gyn.
