a natural and free treatment for candida albicans yeast infection?

Q.

A. One positive aspect of using apple cider vinegar as a means of treating the infection is the fact that vinegar naturally gets rid of odor. Make the mixture by adding two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar to two quarts of boiled filtered water. You can douche with this mixture twice a day. You may consider adding two cups of pure apple cider vinegar to a hot bath and sitting in the bath water for at least 20 to 30 minutes. Open the lips of your vagina and allow the warm medicinal water to enter into the infected area.

Q.

A. Things which can kill good pro-biotic bacteria include:

* Anti-biotics
* Birth Control Pills
* Steroidal/hormonal drugs
* Fluoride
* Chlorine
* Coffee/Tea/Carbonated Drinks
* Synthetic vitamins
* Radiation
* Stress
* Additives
* Pesticides
* Fertilisers

The best way to prvent thrush is to regularlyl take a probiotic, the igher CFU's (colony forming units) the better.

* Get onto a probitoic as soon as you can â this will help the actual problem of a bacterial inbalance and will get to work right away. The good bacteria will begin to grow and out-number the bad bacteria.

* Natural live yogurt contains a pro-biotic called acidophilus. However, the level of pro-biotics in yoghurt is quite low, so it can take a little more time to help, which can be frustrating especially if itching is a problem. You can eat the yoghurt as much as you like, some women swear by inserting some plain natural yoghurt into their vagina. You can soak a tampon in natural yoghurt, (differentiate just unsweetened from true natural yoghurt) and insert into the vagina for 2 hours, then change for new one.

* A clove of garlic inserted into your vagina. This is very effective and works quickly. Find out all the details and how toâs here....http://www.midwiferytoday.com/articles/garlic.asp?a=1&r=1&e=1&q=garlic

* Avoid underwear that is tight or contains materials like lycra and other fabric which reduces air circulation â cotton is best. Avoid underwear wherever possible â not a good idea though if you are going to work and wearking a skirt! Around the home and overnight is a good start.

* Avoid tight jeans or trousers where possible â opt for skirts if you can.

* Candida albicans thrive in moist, warm environments so try to avoid long, hot baths.

* Good old Gentian Violet in an aqua or water Base is still extremely effective for vag thrush (just messy & âout thereâ being bright purple) especially good for nipples & babies mouths as it is very liquid and soaks into all the crevices in the tissues which a gel like Daktarin cannot.

* Douching isnât recommended

* Try avoiding yeast â lot of women swear that yeast in their diet increases the growth of candida. Itâs often present in iron tonic supplements so check list of ingredients when taking these.

* High levels of sugar in diets seems to be a very common culprit, look to amending the diet primarily.

Natural Yeast Infection Treatment During Pregnancy?
Q. I'm 33 weeks preg. today and I know infections can cause premature labor this late which is why I need help fast! I was diagnosed w/ a yeast infection and prescribed a 3-day suppository. I've heard 3 day treatments don't work during preg. and that what I was prescribed can cause birth defects (although so rarely it's not considered a risk...not good enough for me). The clinic where I go has proven incompetant many times (I have no other choice, so I really can't do anything but do most of my own research, which is why I ask a lot of questions here), and I don't trust them with this. Are vinegar or baking soda baths safe/effective during pregnancy? Does anyone else know of a non-drug treatment which is safe while pregnant? For those who will attack me, I am not going against doctors' orders and being neglegent...I'm honestly trying to do what's best for my baby's health, which is not always what is advised by these docs. Thanks to everyone who offers advice.

A. Sweetie, listen. when your pregnant your body goes thru so many different changes it crazy but when i was pregnant i did get , a very common in pregnancy, an infection. it was kind of a yeast infection, cause it had all the syptoms but it was and actual "yeast infection" . My obgyn gave me a suppository, just like yours, for 3 days and the infection is gone. I got this infection twice.

My son is 100% health and he's great. Im pretty sure that a doctor or clinic would give you anything that would harm you baby. Believe me when i say that i know what your going through. You want everything to be perfect with your baby. but im pretty sure that what you have is what i had.

take ur medication and it would go away in 3 days.
